At Bulldog Faith, we are a transformative ministry, committed to empowering Christians to cultivate a resilient, unwavering faith—one that mirrors the tenacity and grit of a bulldog. Like a bulldog that refuses to let go of what rightfully belongs to it, Bulldog Faith encourages believers to take hold of God’s promises—which rightfully belong to them—with that same relentless grit and unwavering trust in God’s Word. As Hebrews 10:23 encourages, we are urged to “hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Using Bible-based principles, our mission is to help believers achieve true freedom, victory, and abundance in every aspect of their lives, just as Jesus promised when He said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
Many Christians find themselves facing unexpected challenges: they are saved but feel stuck, delivered but still feel defeated, forgiven yet continue to feel frustrated. Yet the Word reminds us that “everyone born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4). At Bulldog Faith, we are here to help break through these barriers by equipping believers with Bible-based principles, empowering them to live the victorious life that God intended.
We do not deny the existence of life’s challenges, but we confidently affirm that “thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). Jesus Himself said, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). With these assurances, we believe that these trials are opportunities to exercise our faith and for God’s promises to manifest. Faith doesn’t turn a blind eye to the storm but instead rises above it, firmly anchored in the unshakable truth of God’s Word (James 1:2-4). Bulldog Faith teaches believers how to face these trials head-on, confident in the outcome and steadfast in the promises of God. Just as a bulldog refuses to let go, we (as well as the Bible) encourage believers to hold fast to God’s promises with that same tenacity, knowing that victory isn’t just a distant hope but a present reality for those who refuse to quit standing on God’s Word.
We created the following mnemonic of our core values to help capture and remember the essence of BULLDOG FAITH:
The Bible declares that we are victorious, more than conquerors, the head and not the tail, always above and never beneath, prosperous and successful, filled with joy and peace, and much more. At Bulldog Faith, we believe that the Bible’s declarations aren’t just spiritual ideals—they are present-day realities for every believer who dares to take God at His Word. Our mission is to help you step into these divine promises, fully experience them in your daily life, and refuse to settle for anything less than God’s best.
Too often, Christians live far beneath the fullness of what God has already provided. Many believers understand biblical “salvation” to mean forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Heaven, but the Greek word for salvation—sozo—reveals a more expansive truth. According to Strong’s Concordance, sozo means not only to save but also to heal, deliver, protect, preserve, and make whole. God’s salvation is about more than just eternity; it encompasses our entire being—spirit, soul, and body—and is designed to bring wholeness and abundant life here and now (John 10:10). As 3 John 1:2 affirms, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
It grieves God’s heart when we fall short of claiming what He has freely given through Christ (Hebrews 11:6). At Bulldog Faith, we teach believers how to access these promises by standing firm in faith, refusing to waver in the face of challenges, and holding fast to God’s Word. Faith is the key that unlocks every door to God’s provisions, and patience is what helps us to persevere until the manifestation comes, for “through faith and patience, we inherit what has been promised” (Hebrews 6:12 NIV).
We understand that walking in victory requires more than just knowing the promises—it demands living them out daily with confidence, endurance, and, most importantly, unshakable faith. Bulldog Faith equips believers for this walk by helping them claim every blessing God has promised, live a life that reflects His glory, and stand strong as victors in every area of life.
Our mission includes guiding believers in developing a resilient faith that confidently embraces all of God’s promises—joy, peace, forgiveness, healing, deliverance, prosperity, victory, and more—as revealed in His Word (Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 1:20). These blessings, often referred to as God’s “gifts of grace,” are available to every believer through the power of faith. Think of faith as the currency of God’s Kingdom, empowering us to “take hold” of these divine gifts (Romans 5:2).
Faith is not passive, nor is it confined to the future. It is always present—active and operating in the here and now—empowering us to receive the blessings that God has already promised (Hebrews 11:1; Mark 11:24). Furthermore, faith is not something we generate on our own. It is freely given by God and is built and strengthened as we immerse ourselves in His Word, for “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). As believers hear and meditate on the Word (Joshua 1:8), their faith grows, unlocking new levels of spiritual success, authority, and access to God’s promises.
Faith and patience are essential partners in the life of every believer. While faith takes hold of God’s promises, patience ensures that what faith has claimed is sustained through perseverance (Hebrews 6:12). Faith grabs the blessing, and patience keeps it until it manifests.
The Bible emphasizes that patience is essential for seeing God’s promises come to fruition. While faith gives us the confidence to ask, believe, and receive, it is patience that keeps us steady during the waiting process. Without patience, believers may grow weary, frustrated, or even give up before fully realizing God’s promises.
The scripture tells us, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23). Through patience, we remain anchored, trusting in God’s perfect timing even when challenges arise.
Patience refuses to be distracted or discouraged by circumstances. It stands firm, confident that God will fulfill His Word. Just as two bulldogs work in unison—one named Faith that grabs hold of the promise, and one named Patience that refuses to let go—these two forces guarantee victory, regardless of any obstacles or delays. So, in summary, faith “takes it” and patience “keeps it.”
Consider someone facing a major health challenge or a financial struggle. Faith takes hold of God’s promise for healing (1 Peter 2:24) or financial provision (Philippians 4:19), but patience is required when the manifestation of that healing or financial breakthrough isn’t immediate. During this waiting period, the believer must resist fear, doubt, and frustration, maintaining their previous confession of faith and standing firm on the Word of God, refusing to let circumstances sway their trust—or their spoken words—in His promises. This is where patience steps in—anchoring the believer in God’s promises, refusing to be moved by the wind and waves of negative circumstances. Like the bulldog that refuses to let go, faith takes it, and patience keeps it until the breakthrough is fully realized.
We face the existence of an adversary who seeks to prevent us from receiving God’s gifts of grace. The Bible warns us that we have an enemy—the devil—who aims to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). As a result, receiving God’s promises isn’t typically achieved through a casual or passive approach to faith. Instead, it often requires a more determined and aggressive stance—a true “bulldog faith” that tenaciously takes and holds on to what God has promised (Hebrews 10:23; James 4:7; Mark 11:23)!
Interestingly, it’s no coincidence that the Bible instructs us to “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12), “hold fast to our faith in God’s promises” (Hebrews 10:23), and “take captive every thought” (2 Corinthians 10:5). These verses remind us that the devil attempts to short-circuit our faith through arrows of doubt, deception, distraction, discouragement, and difficulty, all aimed at preventing God’s promised blessings from manifesting in our lives. To successfully claim and receive these divine promises, we must confront these challenges head-on, exercising bulldog faith while also standing firm with patience. Together, faith and patience enable us to persist through trials and circumstances, and ultimately secure the blessings God has promised.
One critical aspect of Bulldog Faith—and key to consistently attaining victory in life—is understanding the power of our spoken words. The Bible teaches that faith speaks (2 Corinthians 4:13), meaning faith is “voice-activated.” It also warns that “life and death are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). Unfortunately, many Christians do not fully grasp the gravity of this truth and often experience defeat due to their own spoken words (Proverbs 6:2). Put simply, most people do not guard their words and, as a result, get “hung by their tongues.” Our faith-filled spoken words will call into our lives either victory or defeat, healing or sickness, prosperity or poverty, solutions or problems. The Bible affirms that we can and will have what we say—whether to our benefit or detriment (Mark 11:23; Luke 6:45). Therefore, Bulldog Faith teaches believers to diligently guard their words with discipline and tenacity, understanding that our words call forth things into our future and shape our realities (Psalm 141:3).
Metaphor: The Law of Faith is much like the Law of Electricity. Electricity is designed for our benefit, providing light, heat, and power. But when handled carelessly, it can also be harmful, even deadly. Likewise, the Law of Faith operates in a similar fashion—it can bring life or it can bring destruction, depending on how we use it. Just as we need to respect and cooperate with the laws of electricity, we must also respect and cooperate with the laws of faith. There is both positive faith and negative faith. Speaking words of faith and truth (“truth-talk”) brings victory, while negative or careless speech (“trouble-talk”) brings defeat. The words we speak—whether intentionally or not—carry the potential to shape our circumstances. Learning to speak the “language of faith” is crucial for living a life of liberty, victory, and prosperity. As Christians, we are called to use our words for positive, life-giving purposes, and in doing so, align ourselves with God’s promises.
But beyond just our words, our level of commitment plays a significant role in the blessings we receive. Just as employees of a company typically receive benefits only if they are full-time, the full benefits of God’s promises are often reserved for those who live as full-time Christians.
Living as a full-time Christian means consistently aligning your life with God’s Word, not just once a week or when it’s convenient. Christianity is not a part-time commitment; it’s a lifestyle of loving God, loving others, growing spiritually, and walking in obedience to His Word. God’s promises are most fully realized by those who dedicate their lives to Him in this way, walking by faith every day.
The Bible is clear that lukewarm or passive faith will not lead to the fullness of God’s blessings. Faith grows by hearing God’s Word and is strengthened through action and commitment. It’s through this steadfast devotion that believers are able to lay hold of God’s promises. When Christians live half-heartedly, they often find themselves struggling with doubt, which hinders their ability to believe and receive God’s provision (Mark 11:23-24; James 1:6). But when we live fully committed lives—abiding in His Word and building our faith—our hearts are strengthened to believe (i.e., they become fully-persuaded) and receive the victory, peace, and abundance God has promised. Praise God!
Abiding in God’s Word involves meditating on and speaking His Word (Joshua 1:8), keeping your eyes and ears on His Word (Proverbs 4:20-22), and fully committing to living it out in every aspect of life. God doesn’t just want a slice of your life; He wants the whole pie, and He desires to be the filling that holds everything together. This all-in commitment enables believers to mature spiritually and consistently walk in God’s provisions and promises. When we give God everything, we are positioned to receive all that He has to offer. It’s not about perfection, but persistence—a faith that refuses to waver, no matter the circumstances.
Just as Jesus taught in the parable of the wise and foolish builders—illustrating the difference between a strong, thriving life and a weak, unstable one—our lives must be built on a solid foundation. Jesus said, “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock” (Matthew 7:24-25). Abiding in God’s Word is like building on that rock—it’s a thriving life, not just surviving. Those who build their lives on the unshakable foundation of God’s Word will withstand life’s storms, while those who ignore His teachings will find themselves on shaky ground and experiencing defeat when challenges arise. This parable illustrates the strength, stability, and victory that come from living a life fully rooted in and built on God’s Word.
Another way to understand abiding in God’s Word is through the continual renewal of your mind, transforming your thoughts to align with His truth. Romans 12:2 reminds us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Our minds, which are constantly influenced by worldly thinking, must be renewed by God’s Word. This renewal is what transforms us and enables us to live victoriously. Without renewing our minds, it becomes difficult to experience the fullness of God’s promises and to walk in His perfect will for our lives. To live a life of victory, believers must continually refresh their thinking by aligning it with God’s truth, rejecting worldly patterns, and embracing the Kingdom mindset that positions them for success, peace, and prosperity.
At Bulldog Faith, we equip believers to live boldly and walk in the fullness of God’s promises. By cultivating faith, patience, and our spoken words, combined with the renewing of our minds, we can experience the abundant life God has designed for us. Our mission is clear: to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and spiritual discipline necessary to stand firm, claim every blessing, and live victoriously and as more than a conqueror in Christ. It’s time to step into your destiny, run the race of faith, and claim your gifts of grace!
